Laura Ibáñez is a visual artist, cultural manager and researcher. During the next months she will investigate the possible dialogues between two artistic works that, directly or indirectly, criticize museum spaces and their role in the circulation of visual culture: Proyecto Li-MAC (Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Lima, 2002) by Sandra Gamarra and Cuerpos Blandos (1969) by Juan Pablo Langlois.
Tania Salazar is a cultural manager and designer with a degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Her research will address the work of artist Antonio Pichillá and its impact on the conceptualization of Latin American identities and the modification of the categories that traditionally classify art that comes from an indigenous horizon.
Congratulations to both of them for having been awarded the Fellowship!
