As part of the discussion program revolving around the current exhibition at Il Posto An Air of Distance, Thayer will present his lecture Exote that reviews the research conducted by the author that culminated with his book Exote Image published in 2019. In it he raises, through the study of the artwork of Eugenio Dittborn, Nury González and Raúl Ruiz, the paradox of his traveling images that, in his words are: «between… neither at the beginning, nor in the middle, nor at the end», «beyond all immobility, finality and rigidity».
