Eduardo Vilches
Concepción, 1932
Self-taught Chilean graphic artist, engraver and photographer. His career began when Nemesio Antúnez invited him to participate in Taller 99, a space for collective creation that brought together already trained creators, painters, sculptors and architects around engraving.
Since 1999 he has been professor emeritus at the School of Arts of the Catholic University.
His work has been strongly related to shapes and silhouettes in black and white.
National Prize of Plastic Arts 2019.
