Diego Bianchi

Argentinean plastic artist. Studied Graphic Design at the University of Buenos Aires and between 2002 and 2003 undertook a critique workshop with Pablo Siquier.
He usually uses garbage as his raw material, emphasizing his interest in what is no longer of value, in what has been discarded, in what is outside the chain of trade.
His work ranges from experimentation, polysemic lyricism and repulsion, seeking to involve the viewer by unsettling him, though the use of sculptures, objects and situations.
During the 2003 – 2005 period, he was awarded a fellowship in the Program for visual artists of the Centro Cultural Rojas – UBA – Kuitca, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
