Christian Vinck

Venezuelan artist. He defines himself as self-taught and member of a long tradition of popular painters. Most of his work is painting and drawing, although he has also developed three-dimensional pieces and a few sound works.

His interests are varied: old documents, newspaper clippings, landscapes, baseball cards, photography collections, album covers, book covers, household objects, ships, historical encyclopedias, portraits, airplanes, landscapes, football games, botanical illustrations and cartography, among others. He has also focused his work on various aspects of Venezuela’s history, past and present.
