Marilyn Boror

She is a Maya Kaqchikel visual artist from San Juan Sacatepéquez, Guatemala. She studied a Bachelor of Arts degree from Universidad de San Carlos in Guatemala. In addition, she was awarded a scholarship by the Utopia Foundation, Spain (2016) and by ESPIRA/ Espora Residencia de Artistas Centroamericanos Emergentes Nicaragua, for three consecutive years (2011-2014). Her work has been presented in different spaces and territories such as Germany, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, United States, Venezuela, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica.
