Chilean painter and visual artist. Graduated in Art at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Chile in Santiago, where he taught Painting and Drawing from 1974 to 1981.Between 1979 and 1981 he studied at Della Universitá degli Studi in Florence.
Between 1971 and 1978 he participated in numerous collective and individual exhibitions, biennials and international competitions in Chile´s major museums and galleries.
He experienced Chile´s cultural changes of the Unidad Popular. In Italy he was linked to the Transvanguardia movement. His paintings were defined as neo-baroque, due to their expressionist multireferential condition and narrative.
