Last Tuesday, December 19 at 6:30 p.m., at Il Posto Documentos, we had a conference and opening of the exhibition of the research of Ignacio Veraguas Caripan, Il Posto’s first research fellow in its autumn-spring call for archives curatorial research.

During the last four months, Veraguas has carefully researched the Il Posto documentary archive and in particular the file corresponding to the Revista de Critica Cultural, which was edited by Nelly Richard between 1990 and 2007.

In the words of the researcher when referring to the exhibition: «The tour of the exhibition presents part of the critical work that sustained and to which the magazine aspired, without neglecting crucial elements for the life of the project (such as subscription forms to the issues or invitations to related events). At the same time, it stops at moments in which the work with artists or visualizers declares by itself its importance.»
